Mulligan Stew Jan 18th 2024- An hour of LA artists honoring First Responders and Firefighters

Our Donor in hour one is our fearless former leader Ken Reagan.
Ken wrote
“Let’s dedicate this hour to the people of the City of Angels and to the first responders and firefighters from the US, Mexico, and Canada. I wish them all safe harbor.”
Those fires continue and so will we.
Ken suggested filling the hour with Los Angeles-based bands and artists.
Considering the vast amount of music that’s been created and released in Los Angeles, the problem was – which ones to play.

Hour one includes

Jackson Browne
CSN & Young
Los Lobos
Sheryl Crow
Tom Waits
Eagles
Joni Mitchell
Marc Jordan
Randy Newman
And from the Wrecking Crew sessions

Byrds
The Beach Boys
Simon and Garfunkel
Mamas and Papas

Hour Two of The Stew
Stephen Fearing
Lucinda Williams
Indigo Girls Live
Kathleen Edwards
Nathan Graham
We honour Sam Moore (Sam & Dave), David Ruffin (The Temps), David Crosby and we finish with a remembrance of the legendary Janis Joplin. It’s her birthday on Sunday
